1/32 scale

Ok guys so I figured out how to convert the plan to 1/32. If printing out from AutoCAD doesn't work, I suggest going to staples and having them do it. The way I do it is by opening the AutoCAD file from the BRA website and I make sure it's in decimal format. Then I just make a straight line that is 32 units, this is a reference line. I erased all of the other parts that I don't need for the plan and then I typed in the command: jpgout and then selected all of the parts I need.

After its a jpg, I printed it out at staples and I measured the line that represented 32 units. Usually it isn't 1 inch, but you can find out how much to enlarge it by doing proportions. An example is if the reference line is 13/16 of an inch, then you do the proportion 13/16 (x) = 1 or 16/16. Then solve for x. In this example x is 1.23 which is 123% that it needs to be enlarged. After its done, it should measure to 1 inch.

  1. Thank you for figuring this out! I will try this out and let you know if I have any problems.
This has earned you another brightly colored marker.
